Pilates has been an integral part of Vardit's life for over 16 years. She knows what has worked for her, kept her interested but also trained her body and brings this into her classes. No two classes are ever the same (rarely music either) and she keeps the moves dynamic & fluid.
Pilates is a mindful exercise which focuses on core strength, a healthy and balanced body, whilst the added by-product is a toned fit-looking physique.
She currently takes two Friday morning classes at Project:Me.
Post-Natal Pilates Instructor
Ruth teaches Post Natal Pilates every Wednesday. As a Sports Massage Therapist she is experienced with bodies at all stages of pregnancy and beyond and qualified in Pilates teaching with Body Control.
She also lectures in Baby Massage and Baby Yoga techniques.
Ruth's classes offer a relaxed environment for Pilates for parents to help strengthen the core and pelvic floor post-birth, whist keeping the little ones involved and happy while you exercise.
Vinyasa & Pregnancy Yoga Instructor
Jos teaches breath led and alignment focused Vinyasa Flow & Pregnancy Yoga.
Having been a stay at home mum for the past 6 years, she found balance and space through yoga. She is passionate about the positive benefits yoga can offer anyone, independent of age, physical ability and personal beliefs.
She believes there is an opportunity to learn something new in every practise, both on and off the mat.
Jos strives to provide a space where students can safely explore and challenge their bodies and unplug from the outside world.
Kung Fu Kids Instructor
Chris has been learning Kung Fu since he was thirteen from different Praying Mantis systems.
Fitness trainer since 2006, he has been using many of his Kung Fu techniques in his training programmes which includes visualisation, breathing and stretching.
Chris has been offering one to one mentoring to teenagers and adults helping them reach personal health and wellbeing through use of different tools and techniques to build a strong mind, healthy body and be able to deal with life challenges.
Post-Natal Pilates Instructor
Sophie has been practicing Pilates for over 12 years, is Pre and Post-Natal qualified and is REPS registered. She loves teaching all levels of Pilates and has a special interest in post-natal and beginners.
As a mother herself, Sophie created a relaxed space for mums to reclaim their bodies alongside their babies, from 6 weeks to crawlers.
Sophie is vibrant and passionate and the class is relaxed but ‘Mum and results’ focused and she is always happy to hold a grizzly baby too.
Iyengar Yoga Instructor
Sonja is a warm, enthusiastic, inspiring and organised teacher. Her instruction is informed by fifteen years of her own practice as well as by twenty years’ experience as a professional contemporary dancer and ten years writing and delivering academic content.
Sonja is delighted to teach Iyengar Yoga in her community and welcomes all students, from absolute beginners to experienced practitioners, as well as those preparing for or recovering from surgeries, or living with ongoing medical conditions. Sonja believes that Yoga belongs to everyone!
Baby Massage Instructor
Debbie has been practising as a Holistic Therapist for over 12 years. She enjoys working closely with clients, helping them enhance their health & vitality and strongly believes that by having regular treatments, a person’s health is continuously boosted, both on a physical & emotional level.
She has worked for many years at a Cancer Support Centre, practising therapies on patients and their families. She also specialises in treating women pre-natal (fertility issues, pregnancy, preparation for labour) as well as post-natal (after birth, baby massage).
